Enhance your child’s language skills this summer! Once again, the OCDSB’s International Languages Program is offering “Les Amis” French Camp, “Los Amigos” Spanish Camp, and new this year, “Die Freunde” German Camp. They all run July 7-25, 2014 at Lady Evelyn Public School, 63 Evelyn Avenue, starting at $130/week. These camps for children 5 to 12 years offer a variety of indoor and outdoor activities in a friendly atmosphere, and are coordinated by competent and energetic camp counselors. French Camp runs from 9am-4pm (with half and full day options); and Spanish Camp and German Camp run from 1-4pm.
The OCDSB also offers various international language courses (FREE for Ontario residents) in the morning at other locations, running July 2-25, 2014.

Join us for fun and educational drawing camps in Barrhaven, Kanata and Orleans for ages 6-12! Choose from these half-day, one-week camps; Anime Cartoon, Zoo Animal and Medieval Castle drawing.
Our 10-day camps for young string, brass, wind and percussion musicians are led by some of Ottawa’s finest professional musicians and teachers. Daily ensemble playing, group lessons, theory and ear training, for beginner to advanced players, lead up to a concert on the final day. Sports, crafts and recreation activities balance music studies.

Our camps are all about horses and ponies. At our farm in west Ottawa, children aged 7 to 14 will ride two times each day, learning new skills and playing games to build confidence and have fun. Daily horsemanship activities will include learning about safety and horse care. We’ll even build a model of a horse! Topics will vary from week to week. Each session will finish up with a mini-horse show, BBQ and demonstration. Discounts are available when booking early, enrolling more than one sibling in one week or booking multiple weeks.

The Photography Summer Camps offer a great opportunity for teens to learn about photography and editing in a fun, hands-on environment. Each camp offers small groups to ensure quality instruction and is run by a professional photographer with 20 years teaching experience. The students will learn about the different principals of photography and will have ample time to practice both in the studio and outside. The Stittsville studio is located in walking distance to trails and parks. All students will receive a framed print of their work at the end of the week.
Youth Baseball Camp with emphasis on Developing Baseball Skills and Fundamentals through In-Depth Instruction in a Positive Environment. Instructor to participant ratio will be 1 to 5 maximum.
Spend a joyful week riding your bike with our Pedalheads® Instructors! All campers will participate in both a morning and an afternoon Pedalheads® class. They will also enjoy age appropriate games and crafts before the lunch break. Younger kids will have plenty of variety in their activities to keep them energized throughout the day. Older and more experienced riders will participate in a number of challenging and exciting off site rides. Extended hours before and after camp are also available.
